Watch the First Trailer of Sia’s Directional Debut and Cinematic Experience ‘Music’ Starring Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr and Maddie Ziegler

Sia has given us a taste of the unique world of Music starring Academy Award-nominee Kate Hudson (Almost Famous), Grammy and Tony Award-winner Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), and Maddie Ziegler (West Side Story) as Music.

Marking her feature directional debut, the first trailer of the upcoming cinematic experience previews the story of the free spirit and newly sober Zu (Hudson) who suddenly becomes the sole guardian of her young half-sister Music, a teenager on the autism spectrum. Faced with the hardship and realities of her new responsibilities and constant struggle of self-worth, Zu gets help from her neighbor Ebo (Leslie Odom Jr.) who guides her in this new chapter in her life that sees her find her own voice and a family.

Mary Kay Place, Juliette LewisBen Schwartz and Hector Elizondo will also co-star the drama.

Sia and Dallas Clayton wrote the screenplay based on the short story by the singer-songwriter. The film will feature Sia’s hit single “Together,” along with ten new songs penned by the artist and performed by the cast as musical numbers.

Sia’s new album Music will feature her latest single “Hey Boy” with songs from and inspired by the motion picture out on February 12, 2021. Pre-order the album now here.
