Watch: Black Pumas Perform ‘Colors’ on ‘Colbert’

Black Pumas returned to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday to render an uplifting yet gently psychedelic performance of their Grammy-nominated anthem “Colors.”

The acclaimed single appears on the duo’s 2019 self-titled debut album and was then followed by a live studio version featured in the deluxe edition of the record released last year. The deluxe version of Black Pumas earned them three Grammy nominations for this year’s ceremony, including for Record of the Year and Best American Roots Performance for “Colors” and Album of the Year for Black Pumas (Deluxe Edition).

Following their performance on the late-night show, the Austin-based duo shared two new Spotify Singles. The session features a cover of Rodriguez’s “Sugar Man” and a special version of “Colors” featuring Hypnotic Brass Ensemble that can be streamed here.
