Universal Studios Hollywood has introduced their special ticketed event Taste of Universal. The all-new separately ticketed, limited-time event will open Universal’s Upper Lot for guests to shop and dine.
Beginning on select weekends from March 12 to the first weekend of April, Springfield, U.S.A., The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the new Minion Cafe, and Hollywood and Dine will offer theme park treats and new meals to try with photo opportunities throughout the park.
Adult tickets are priced at $44.00 ($48.18 with tax) on Fridays and $49.00 ($53.66 with tax) on Saturdays and Sundays, while children tickets for ages 3 through 9 will be priced at $25.00 ($27.38 with tax) regardless of the day. The ticket will include admission as well as including a choice of 5 menu items (3 items for kids) from an extensive menu of appetizers, entrees, beverages, and desserts. Additional items are available a la carte for a separate price. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available to purchase at UniversalStudiosHollywood.com.
While the park will be open for shopping and dining, attractions will remain closed as well as the Lower Lot.
Universal Studios Hollywood has been closed since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. CityWalk reopened with limited options during the summer while the park remained closed.
