tvN has shared a highlight video for the upcoming drama Start-Up that will also hit Netflix in October.
The show is about very different individuals all begin their journeys at the same place called Sand Box, striving to fulfill their dreams and goals. Starring Suzy as Seo Dal Mi, who dreams of becoming Korea’s Steve Jobs, and Nam Joo-Hyuk as Nam Do San, founder of Samsan Tech and Kim Seon-Ho plays Han Ji Pyung, a team leader at SH Venture Capital, with Kang Han-Na is CEO and second-generation ‘chaebol’ Won In Jae.
The teaser shows the struggles between Seo Dal Mi and Won In Jae and shows the opposite lives led by Seo Dal Mi and CEO Won In Jae. The video also sets up the love connection and more.
Above all, the four main characters each have their own reasons for entering the world of startup companies. Seo Dal Mi dreams of turning the tables in her life, Nam Do San wants to shine as he did in the past, Han Ji Pyung needs to pay off his debts, and Won In Jae doesn’t want to fail. Toward the end of the video, Seo Dal Mi says with confidence, “I’ve never regretted my own decisions.”
