- Disney Plus is dropping a behind-the-scenes docuseries for "The Mandalorian" on May the Fourth.
You won’t have to wait for season 2 to be released to get your dose of Baby Yoda. Disney Plus has announced a behind-the-scenes docuseries for “The Mandalorian” will be released on Star Wars Day, May 4th. The docuseries will have eight episodes hosted by creator and showrunner Jon Favreau.
“Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian” will take a look at different facets of the show through interviews, roundtable discussions, and never-before-seen footage. It will look at the filmmaking process, the cast and how they brought their characters to life, the technology used on the show, as well as the artistry behind the show’s practical models, the score, its connection to Star Wars characters, and George Lucas’ legacy of “Star Wars.”
While season 2 is confirmed to be released in Fall 2021, “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian” will keep fans invested and see how one of the most popular Disney Plus shows came to life.
“The Mandalorian” will end its first season in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland three days before the release of “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian” so audiences will be able to be up to date with what is going on.
Disney Plus will also release the series finale of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” on May 4th concluding seven seasons.
