‘The Batman’ Pushed Back to 2022, ‘Matrix 4’ Moves Date Up

On the heels of the date change for Dune, Warner Bros. has announced that Robert Pattinson’s The Batman will now be released on March 4, 2022. Dune was originally set for December 18 but was moved to the date The Batman previously had.

The Flash starring Ezra Miller has been pushed from June 3, 2022 slot, and moved to November 4, 2022, and Shazam 2 was moved from November 4, 2022 date and will instead open on June 2, 2023.

While other films are pushing their dates back, Matrix 4 has moved up its date from April 1, 2022, to December 22, 2021.

However, Black Adam and the video game adaptation of Minecraft have been taken off the release calendar entirely.
