Academy Award winner Spike Lee and Netflix have teamed up for a creative partnership that will have Lee direct and produce narrative feature films under a multi-year deal. The partnership kicks off in January and follows Lee’s four collaborations with Netflix, including writing and directing Da 5 Bloods, writing and directing the She’s Gotta Have It series, directing Rodney King, and producing See You Yesterday.
Through this creative partnership, Netflix will also invest in and provide financial support for Lee’s ongoing mission to develop new talent and increase representation in the entertainment industry.
