SM Entertainment to Release Remastered Music Videos Beginning with H.O.T.’s 1996 Debut Song

SM Entertainment has kicked off their Remastering Project with the release of the remastered music video of H.O.T.‘s 1996 debut song “전사의 후예 (폭력시대).” The remastered music video will release sequentially every Thursday at 10 a.m. KST.

As part of the Remastering Project, SM will upgrade various music videos of legendary artists that have been produced and presented by SM for the past 20 years. The remastered music videos will be upscaled and remastered in a state suitable for digital platforms, including the original video and the sound source. Future releases will include music videos from S.E.S., SHINHWA, FLY TO THE SKY, and BoA.

The Remastering Project is a project designed to once again look at the history of K-pop and contribute to the growth of the Korean music industry in the wake of the revival of K-pop around the world. SM plans to remaster more than 300 music videos and sound sources.
