- Evangelism movement Pulse will honor the late Ravi Zacharias with a live event 'Make Jesus Known' on May 30.
Pulse will host a live event “Make Jesus Known” to honor the life and ministry of Ravi Zacharias on Saturday, May 30 at 11 a.m. ET. The event will also coincide with the celebration of Pentecost.
Pulse is an evangelism movement founded by Nick Hall. The event seeks to unite the global church together.
“To millions of Christian around the world, Ravi Zacharias was the most famous and influential Christian apologist of the past century. But to me, he was a mentor and friend,” Hall said. “He showed me what it really means to pour into people and share the message of Christ with a hurting world. I can think of no better way to honor his life than continuing his legacy of love, leadership and evangelism.”
The event will feature footage from Zacharias’s messages and practical ways to follow his example. The event will feature notable worship leaders and speakers including Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, Hillsong Young & Free, Lecrae, Christine D’Clario, Miel San Marcos, Ebony Small, Rashawn Copeland, Dave Gibson, Greg Stier, Preston Perry, and Tye Tribbett. Cash Luna, Jonathan Pokluda, J. John, and Hall will deliver messages throughout the two-hour event along with members of the RZIM leadership team Abdu Murray and Jo and Vince Vitale.
“In a time when the church has been forced out of the building, we long to go back to normal, but maybe God is calling us to a new normal where we no longer see the walls of the church building as the boundaries for evangelism,” Hall said. “Our world’s desperate need for Jesus is becoming increasingly evident during these unprecedented times. In light of that, there is a growing need for practical advice and training on what evangelism can look like during this time.”
The event will be live on the Pulse website with more information about the movement: https://pulsemovement.com/makejesusknown/.
