- Outside Lands have announced their 2021 lineup with names like Kehlani, The 1975, J Balvin, and more.
With Outside Lands 2020 officially canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers are keeping festival-goers amped by announcing the 2021 lineup taking place on August 6th-8th, 2021.
The lineup is full of big names including Tame Impala, Lizzo, The Strokes, Tyler, the Creator, Vampire Weekend, J Balvin, Kehlani, The 1975, Boy Pablo, and Scarypoolparty. Zhu, Beach House, Nelly, and Trevor Daniel are also set to perform.
“In what has been a disappointing year for concertgoers and the music industry alike, Outside Lands is looking to the future. We all miss the much-needed community and positivity that comes with our annual celebration in San Francisco and we look forward to bringing the music back in 2021,” organizers said in a statement.
“We are thrilled for the festival to be coming back in 2021,” said Allen Scott, co-producer of Outside Lands, in a press statement. “There’s been a lot of bad news out there with regard to COVID-19 and we want to give people something to look forward. We’re hopeful that in sharing our excitement about the future of the festival and next year’s lineup, that it provides some much-needed positivity for our fans and community.”
Outside Lands is one of the festivals that got canceled due to the pandemic. Coachella recently canceled after hoping it could continue late in the year. Spain’s Primavera Sound canceled and announce its 2021 lineup with even more names.
Tickets will go on sale on sale Thursday, June 25th at 10 a.m. PT at https://www.sfoutsidelands.com/. 2020 ticket holders can transfer their passes to next year’s festival or receive a full refund.
