Nicky Jam Takes Over Pandora’s El Pulso Station

Nicky Jam

Pandora has launched a new Artist Takeover Mode with reggaeton artist Nicky Jam on El Pulso – the streaming service’s biggest Latin station. Listen to the takeover here.

During his Pandora Artist Takeover Mode, Nicky Jam delves deep into the making of his most recent album Infinity and working with El Alfa and Romeo Santos for the album.

“I did ‘Pikete’ with El Alfa because I wanted him to get out of his comfort zone,” Nicky Jam exclusively tells Pandora. “Pikete is a reggaeton track and El Alfa normally does dembow and that is why I wanted El Alfa to do it. I believe El Alfa is good for this song and he really went all in on it.”

“‘Fan de tus fotos’ is a song that I made and I automatically thought of Romeo Santos and how he needed to do it,” elaborates Nicky Jam. “Because it’s as if we met in the middle, it’s a romantic song, very melodic and Romeo Santos hasn’t done this type of reggaeton, he’s done various kinds or reggaeton but not this type and obviously when we sing this song we realized how well it worked.”
