- Singer/songwriter Nick Wilson releases his new single 'Safe.'
British singer-songwriter Nick Wilson has releases a bran new single “Safe” via Never Fade Records.
“Safe” highlights Wilson’s signature ambient-electronic, alt-pop but has a subtle shift for the singer. It’s an emotional song that is fresh and allows fans to connect.
“I wrote Safe with writing duo The Nocturns. It was our first session together and we were talking about how as humans, we have the tendency to second guess ourselves, and work ourselves up about whatever is bringing us down. Safe became this song that acted almost as a reminder to myself that it’s usually never as bad as it seems. Sometimes we’re the ones making it worse, and in the end it’s always better to tackle it head on rather than play it safe,” says Wilson.
The song was produced by the Nocturns (Tom Walker, Sam Feldt, Declan J Donovan) and is Wilson’s second single this year after “Not Like Falling Out Of Love.” The singer/songwriter has amassed 76 million streams at Spotify and 1 million monthly listeners and “Safe” was included in Spotify’s New Music Friday UK.
Wilson went on tour earlier this year around the UK with Gabrielle Aplin and played his first overseas tour as a guest to Dotan. With influences including LANY and Noah Gundersen, Wilson released a series of EP’s and single before singing with Never Fade Records and releasing A Face I’ve Never Seen Before.
Wilson will hit the road this October in UK as special guest to Emily Burns.
“Safe” is now available on music streaming platforms.
