Netflix Drops Teaser for Lee Eung Bok’s Korean Thriller ‘Sweet Home’

Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming psychological thriller series Sweet Home from filmmaker Lee Eung Bok.  


Adapted from the popular webtoon of the same name, Sweet Home is based on the unique premise of a world in which people turn into monsters that reflect their own individual desires. After losing his family, reclusive high school student Cha Hyeon Soo moves into a new apartment where he faces these bizarre and shocking circumstances. 

The ten-episode original series stars Song Kang as Cha Hyeon Soo, who gained recognition as a next-generation star for his performance in the Netflix original series Love Alarm alongside Voice star Lee Jin Wook as the mysterious Pyeong Sang Wook, and No Mercy’s Lee Si Young as a new original character Seo Yi Kyung written for the streamer’s adaptation.

An ensemble of newcomers and veteran actors round out the cast, which includes Lee Do Hyun (Hotel del Luna), Kim Nam Hee (Mr. Sunshine), Go Min Shi (Love Alarm) Park Gyu Young (Romance is a Bonus Book), Go Yoon Jung (He Is Psychometric), Kim Gap Soo (Designated Survivor: 60 Days) and Kim Sang Ho (Kingdom).

The suspense thriller series is written by Hong So Ri, Kim Hyung Min, and Park So Jeong, and produced by Studio Dragon.
