Maverick City Music and Elevation Worship Break Out with ‘Old Church Basement’

Elevation Worship & Maverick City

Maverick City Music and GRAMMY-nominated Elevation Worship‘s Old Church Basement has landed at No. 2 on the iTunes All-Genre Albums chart and No. 1 on the iTunes Christian Chart since its release on April 30. The groups have five of the Top 10 videos on the iTunes All-Genre video chart, and their song “Jireh” is on the Spotify Viral 50 Chart.

Recorded live during two nights at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC, the record is a soaring, ecstatic collection fueled by love and faith and community, and that “community” is what Maverick City Music is all about.

In the two years since releasing their debut EP, Maverick City Vol. 1, Maverick City Music has already notched multiple Billboard No. 1 albums and singles, earned a pair of Dove Award nominations, racked up more than 250 million streams across platforms.

In addition to collaborating with Elevation Worship, Maverick City Music recently joined forces with “Crowder” for this electrifying performance of “Good God Almighty,” which topped the Billboard Hot Christian Songs Chart.
