Marlon Wayans has set an overall deal with HBO Max.
With the deal includes a new one-hour special with Wayans, a multi-act special where he will host and he will work on a scripted and unscripted project. Book of Marlon will be the scripted project co-written with Rick Alvarez. It will be a half-hour comedy with Wayans starring as a fictionalized version of himself as he attempts to reconcile being a good person and father while being Marlon.

Wayans and Alvarez have produced projects under their Ugly Baby Productions banner including the comedy classic White Chicks.
