Macaulay Culkin Stays COVID-Safe with ‘Home Alone’ Themed Face Mask

  • "Don't forget to wear your masks, kids."

Macaulay Culkin’s COVID PSA-like tweet went viral on Wednesday as he donned a nostalgic face mask featuring his younger self.

The 40-year-old actor shared a selfie on the platform sporting a mask bearing the actor’s iconic screaming expression from his role as the eight-year-old Kevin McCallister from the blockbuster film Home Alone.

“Just staying Covid-safe wearing by the flayed skin of my younger self,” he wrote. “Don’t forget to wear your masks, kids.”

Back in 2018, Culkin reprised his role as an adult Kevin McCallister with a comedic remake that saw the actor recreate the ’90s film classic scenes for a Google ad.

Disney is also in the works to reboot the Home Alone franchise for Disney+ starring Archie Yates (Jojo Rabbit), Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live), Ally Maki (Toy Story 4), Chris Parnell (Archer), Rob Delaney (Bombshell), and Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt).
