- Knott's Berry Farm expands its food events with new 'Taste of Knott's' event offering more foods and experiences.
Knott’s Berry Farm has expanded its food events with the brand new “Taste of Knott’s” event. After the popularity of “Taste of Calico,” the new event will expand to include Fiesta Village and Boardwalk, along with Ghost Town.
“Taste of Knott’s” will feature new unique foods, drink and merchandise. Mexican-inspired cuisine, Knott’s famous BBQ offerings and classic Knott’s dishes pulled from the pages of the celebrated Knott’s Berry Farm Cookbook will be available at the event. A full list of offerings will be made available at a later date.
Tasting cards —which are the event’s tickets— are already on sale with a $5 price bump compared to “Taste of Calico.” Regular (ages 12+) tasting cards are $30 and include 5 tastings. Junior (ages 3-11) tasting cards are $15 and include 3 tastings. Children under the age of 2 can enter for free. Each person attending must have their own tickets. Annual passholders receive a 10% discount on tasting cards.
Rides will continue to stay closed, as well as the other lands in the park that will not be part of the event. “Taste of Knott’s” and the rest of the food events serve as a way to bring guests back to the theme park while following the state mandates which currently only allows outdoor dining.
Knott’s had extended the dates for “Taste of Calico” and with the addition of the new event, it seems they have found a safe alternative to get foot traffic and connect with guests who have been missing theme parks.
