The Jonas Brothers may not be returning anytime soon.
The brothers, Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas, have had a rocky last few years where they initially broke up on October 2013 but returned on February 2019 to delight fans. But with the pandemic halting plans across the entertainment industry, fans may have to wait for the follow-up of their last comeback album, Happiness Begins.
Nick recently announced he will be releasing a new solo single and will pull double duty on Saturday Night Live as a host and musical guest on February 27. While Joe was recently cast in an upcoming war movie titled Devotion.
The trio had previously announced they were working on an album last year before the pandemic hit.
At the time Nick said, “It’s done, that’s the cool part, and there’s even more new music coming as well.” A new album was listed for pre-order on the group’s website but it has now been removed.
The Jonas Brothers had a successful comeback with their single “Sucker” which became a triple-platinum track that debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, becoming the first No. 1 for the band and the first No. 1 debut from a group this century.
