- Jesse McCartney has dropped two acoustic songs 'Yours' and 'Friends.'
Jesse McCartney has released the acoustic tracks for the songs “Yours” and “Friends.”
“I like to record acoustic tracks to give people a chance to hear the song in their purest form without any production to let the songs stand on their own,” said McCartney.
McCartney fifth full-length album will be out later this year and the acoustic versions give a taste for what’s to come.
McCartney’s career boasts many successes including the Platinum Beautiful Soul released in 2004 and Right Where You Want Me (2006) and Departure (2008)—consecutively bowed in the Top 15 of the Billboard Top 200 with the singles “Beautiful Soul” minted Gold and “Leavin’” certified Platinum. Other hits include “How Do You Sleep,” and “Body Language.”
He has packed global headline tours, and major college tours and performing shows for both George W. Bush and Barack Obama. As a songwriter, he notably wrote the 4x Platinum GRAMMY® Award-nominated “Bleeding Love” for Leona Lewis.
McCartney appeared this year in Season 3 of Fox’s #1 show, The Masked Singer, and beat out 16 other celebrities to be the 2nd place winner as The Turtle. His one-off single “Better With You” in 2018 has racked up nearly 30 million cumulative streams. He also has acting credits appearing in TV series Greek, Young and Hungry, and Fear The Walking Dead, To the film Chernobyl Diaries, and voicing Theodore in Alvin and the Chipmunks films, playing Roxas/Ventus in gamer favorite Kingdom Hearts as well as Nightwing in the popular series Young Justice, about to have its season 4 premiere.
