- HBO Max will be available on Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV.
Despite having their own streaming service, Apple teamed up with HBO. Existing HBO Now customers who are billed through the App Store and current HBO subscribers will be able to log in and access HBO Max app at no additional charge. New HBO Max customers will be able to subscribe on the app using in-app purchase.
HBO Max will also be fully integrated with the Apple TV app, so subscribers will be able to see HBO Max content in the Watch Now section and its own dedicated HBO Max room. Users will also be able to add shows and movies to Up Next and use Siri to search.

HBO Max will launch with a slate of original content such as Love Life, On the Record, Legendary, Craftopia, Looney Toons Cartoons, and The Not Too Late Show with Elmo. But will also include HBO shows like Game of Thrones and acquired programming including Friends; The Big Bang Theory; Doctor Who; Rick and Morty; The Boondocks; The Bachelor; Sesame Street; The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air; CW shows such as Batwoman, Nancy Drew, and Katy Keene; the first season of DC’s Doom Patrol; The O.C.; Pretty Little Liars, to name a few. A reunion show for Friends is also in the works.
HBO Max will also be available at launch through other distributors including AT&T, Charter, and YouTube TV. The service is priced at $14.99 per month and is available at www.hbomax.com.
