Amazon Music and She Is The Music (SITM) have announced that H.E.R. and Jazmine Sullivan will be featured on “GROUP THREAD: Not Pictured” on March 12. Led by host, music journalist, and pop culture expert, Sowmya Krishnamurthy, the new weekly roundtable series shines a light on women breaking down barriers in the industry and inspiring the next generation. The live conversations air every Friday in March at 2 p.m. PT, streaming globally on the Amazon Music Twitch channel and in the Amazon Music app.

H.E.R. and Jazmine Sullivan will be sharing on the episode about their recent collaboration on “Girl Like Me” from Sullivan’s new album, Heaux Tales, the lanes they’ve evolved in the ever-expanding R&B space, and the importance for women to own their power in the music industry.

SITM founding member Alicia Keys and fellow co-founder and engineer, Ann Mincieli will also make their way onto the series later this month. The inaugural episode of “GROUP THREAD: Not Pictured” kicked off March 5 with an inspiring conversation with St. Vincent and Partner and Co-Head Of Worldwide Music for UTA / SITM co-founder Samantha Kirby Yoh, where they discussed the multi-Grammy Award winner’s new single, “Pay Your Way In Pain,” and forthcoming album, Daddy’s Home. They also highlighted essential roles of women working in music and how to increase representation in fields such as audio engineering, producing, songwriting and more, aligning to She Is The Music’s mission.
