Get the First Look at the Grown-Up Sharkboy and Lavagirl for ‘We Can Be Heroes’

Sharkboy and Lavagirl are back. Netflix has shared the first look at We Can Be Heroes which follows Sharkboy and Lavagirl’s daughter on a new adventure.

Written and directed by Robert Rodriguez, We Can Be Heroes tells the story of what happens when alien invaders kidnap Earth’s superheroes and how their children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world.

Taylor Dooley reprises her role as Lavagirl from The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D which released in 2005. Notably missing was Taylor Lautner who did not return to play Sharkboy. JJ Dashnaw now compromises the other half of the duo.
