Frozen 2 is making its mark after the highly popular “Let It Go.” Billboard confirmed that the soundtrack has remained at the No. 1 spot on the Soundtracks chart for the 27th week in a row. This is the fifth-longest run since the chart originated in 2001.

However it hasn’t beat out its predecessor. The first Frozen soundtrack spend 44 weeks at No. 1 in 2013-14. It is also trialing behind O Brother, Where Art Thou? which spend 34 weeks at No.1 in 2001-02, The Greatest Showman with 32 weeks in 2018-19, and and Moana at 31 weeks in 2016-17.

Frozen 2 beat out A Star Is Born with Lady Gaga and multiple Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper and High School Musical.

Both Frozen soundtracks have been No.1 on the chart for a combined 71 weeks, more than any other film franchise in the chart’s history. Other soundtracks including Disney’s Hannah Montana and High School MusicalGlee, and The Twilight Saga have spent more than 20 weeks on the chart.
