EXO’s Baekhyun, BTS, BLACKPINK, Sam Smith and More Win Big at the 2020 Melon Music Awards
Taking place over four days from December 2 to 5, the 2020 Melon Music Awards have taken a time virtually to honor the best in music. With performances from several artists over the span of a week, the MMA’s went off without a hitch despite COVID-19 restrictions.
The MMA’s revealed the Top 10 Artists last month which included EXO’s Baekhyun, Baek Yerin, BLACKPINK, BTS, Im Young Woong, IU, IZ*ONE, Kim Ho Joong, Oh My Girl, and Block B’s Zico.
Rookie groups Cravity and Weeekly took home the Best New Artist titles, while British singer Sam Smith won Best Pop. MONSTA X won for Best Performance. BLACKPINK also won Best Dance (Female) for “How You Like That.”
BTS won Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for Map of the Soul: 7, and Song of the Year for their GRAMMY nominated song “Dynamite.”
