While Disneyland is running into trouble reopening, the resort found a way to partially reopen one of its parks to meet state guidelines. Beginning in November, Disney California Adventure’s Buena Vista Street will open for guests for shopping and dining.
Being described as an extension of Downtown Disney —due to the actual theme park being closed— guests will be able to access Buena Vista Street only through Downtown Disney.
Elias & Co., Julius Katz & Sons, Kingswell Camera Shop, Trolley Treats, Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, Carthay Circle Lounge, and Smokejumpers Grill will be available for shopping and food for guests to enjoy. The shops will also offer Disney’s holiday merchandise.
Per the Disney Parks Blog, more news about the special shopping and dining experiences will be announced later.
Disneyland seems to be taking the route other theme parks like Knott’s Berry Farm have done to reopen shopping and dining to allow guests to return to the park. Although attractions and other experiences remain closed, it gives a way for employees and guests to return in some form.
