After being closed for more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Disneyland resort will reopen to guests on April 30, 2021, with limited capacity.
“The day all of us have long been waiting for is almost here,” said Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort. “We’re excited to have more than 10,000 cast members returning to work as we get ready to welcome our guests back to this happy place.”
Both Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure will be reopened with the Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa reopening on April 29 with limited capacity. Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa plan to reopen May 2. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel will reopen at a later date.
Disneyland will recall over 10,000 cast members in the days leading up to the opening. Proper health protocols will also be in place such as wearing masks throughout your visit.
No further information regarding the new reservation system has been announced. Disneyland will announce details for tickets at a later date.
The A Touch of Disney, the limited-time ticketed experience which has sold out, will go on as planned at Disney California Adventure from March 18 through April 19.
The new land at Disney California Adventure, Avengers Campus, will open at a later date.
