  • The Imagen Foundation honored Latinos making a positive impact in film and television in its 35th annual Imagen Awards held virtually on Thursday.

The Imagen Foundation has celebrated the 35th annual Imagen Awards on Thursday to honor and highlight the accomplishments by Latinos in the entertainment industry. The annual awards ceremony was held virtually due to COVID-19 and was live-streamed in partnership with The Young Turks.

Diego Luna was crowned Best Actor in Television for his performance in the Netflix original series Narcos: Mexico and Jearnest Corchado took the award for Best Actress in Television for her role in the Apple TV+ original series Little America.

The Best Actress in a Feature Film honor was awarded to both Jennifer Lopez for Hustlers and Isabela Merced for Dora and the Lost City of Gold.
