David Stewart and Jessica Agombar are Back to No. 1 on Hot 100 Songwriters Chart for BTS’ ‘Dynamite’

  • BTS' "Dynamite" songwriters and producer continue to dominate the Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers Billboards charts since the debut.

Songwriters David Stewart and Jessica Agombar dominate for a fourth week on Billboard‘s Hot 100 Songwriters chart at No. 1 (dated October 3) for BTS’s “Dynamite”. The K-pop boy band earned its first No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart since debuting the disco-pop single, and has since rebound to the top of the chart for a third week.

Stewart and Agombar had previously co-written the chart-topping Jonas Brothers’ single “What a Man Gotta Do,” alongside Ryan Tedder, Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas. The single debuted and peaked at No. 16 on the Hot 100. Stewart also contributed to the track as a co-producer with Tedder.

According to Billboard, Stewart celebrates another feat for his contribution as the sole producer of “Dynamite” with his return to No. 1 on the Hot 100 Producers chart for a fourth week. The producer-songwriter thrives with the most weeks to simultaneously rule both Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers, an accomplishment also achieved this year The Weeknd and OZ.
