- Darren Barnet will guest star on ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' in the first episode of the new season.
Barnet will appear in the show’s final season opener but it is unknown how many episodes he will appear in. The episode titled “The New Deal” will have Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. Here the agents will encounter Barnet’s character.
Patton Oswalt will also return in an unspecified new role. Previously he had portrayed iterations of the Koenig siblings.
Barnet broke out into the scene with his character Paxton Hall-Yoshida in Netflix’s comedy series, Never Have I Ever co-created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D begins its seventh and final season on May 27 at 10 p.m. ABC will begin airing The Wonderful World of Disney before the show’s episodes air.
