- Cory Asbury releases a raw acoustic piano version of 'Time Goes By' from his upcoming album dropping in July.
Grammy-nominated Bethel Music singer/songwriter Cory Asbury has released a raw acoustic piano recording of his upcoming new song “Time Goes By’.
“I wrote this song with my good friends, Matt Maher and Caleb Culver,” Asbury shared across his social media accounts when speaking about the new song. “I recorded it about 3 weeks ago thinking I’d release it sometime this Fall, but as I’ve looked around at what’s been going on in our world, I felt now was the appropriate time.”
The singer behind the breakout hit “Reckless Love” will be releasing his sophomore album on July 31. His first single from the upcoming album “The Father’s House” released earlier this year along with “Christ Be Magnified.”
Asbury is the worship pastor of Radiant Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and is a member of the Bethel Music collective. The singer/songwriter earned a Grammy nomination for “Reckless Love,” which also earned a Billboard Music Awards nominations for Top Christian Song, the album for Top Christian Album, and Asbury for Top Christian Artist in 2019. He sings the song “Egypt” in Bethel Music’s latest album “Revival’s In The Air.”
