Coldplay and BTS Release Two New Versions of ‘My Universe’

The most anticipated collaboration of the year continues to give fans a lot to look forward to. Coldplay and BTS have released two new versions of their joint track “My Universe.” The acoustic version (available here) and the Supernova 7 mix (available here) give new takes to the already iconic track.

The track is produced by Max Martin with BTS members RM, Suga, and J-Hope credited as composers. “My Universe” is sung in both English and Korean highlighting the universality of the message.

An official music video for “My Universe” directed by Dave Meyers is set to follow both versions of the song soon.

Coldplay performed “My Universe” live for the first time at the 2021 Global Citizen Festival in New York City’s Central Park on September 26 where they were joined by BTS onstage virtually appearing at the event from South Korea.

BTS also released the documentary which follows how the track came to life.
