Celebrities You Need to Follow While Social Distancing

You may have gone through all of Netflix’s listings (thankfully new stuff is coming in April) and have played every game you can. It’s time to turn to the entertainers to give us content while social distancing. There is a huge influx of people doing Instagram Lives, more active on Twitter, and everything in between. Here are some that you should be following while at home social distancing.

Chrissy Teigen

If you’re not following Chrissy Teigen yet, this is the moment. She’s always active on Twitter and replies to fan often. The last few days she’s been promoting her new Quibi show, “Chrissy’s Court” and has made joke verdicts to whoever tweets at her. She recently shared her hilarious adventure on finding romaine lettuce in LA and exchanging bread with a Twitter follow. The story was documented with a series of videos.

Ben Schwartz

Actor and Comedian Ben Schwartz has been documenting his experience with the hashtag #QuarantineTonight. He’s using humor to pass the time and sharing details of everything he’s doing. Every morning he has started doing Q&A’s answering fans questions about anything.

Joe Rohde

Joe Rohde is a Disney Imagineer and he’s a must follow for people who love culture and Disney. Rohde’s Twitter is filled with a lot of knowledge and some politics. But over on Instagram, he is doing a series talking about Disney’s Animal Kingdom park which he was part of bringing to life. Every day he shares photos about the park and shares the story behind them. It’s perfect for Disney fans. While you’re at it, watch “The Imagineering Story” on Disney Plus.

Rafael Casal

Rafael Casal is an actor, poet, producer, and everything else you can think of. He provides humorous news updates. The Rafatics are quick videos Casal has done before to share the news. His recent edition shows people how to properly protect themselves while social distancing in a comedic way.

Upperroom who recently released a new album is taking to Instagram to do a digital tour. Each night a member of the band comes on and does a small concert for viewers. It’s a fun way to stay connected and bring the show to the comfort of your home.

Home and Hallelujah

Started by Ayesha and Stephen Curry, Home and Hallelujah will happen every Thursday night at 5 PM PST. Every week they will have prominent speakers and different worship singers to share. Artists like Tori Kelly, Johnnyswim, and Hillsong Worship have been on and will rotate new ones weekly. It’s a night to find peace.
