‘Butter’ Becomes BTS’ Longest Leading No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart

BTS have again broken their own record. This time their latest single “Butter” has spent 4 consecutive week at at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, beating the record from last year’s GRAMMY nominated track “Dynamite” which spent 3 weeks at No. 1 on the chart. “Butter” also remains at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

Since its release, “Butter” has broken streaming records on YouTube and Spotify. BTS have also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with four different tracks including “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo in October 2020 and “Life Goes On” in December 2020.

The group recently released their Japanese compilation album BTS, The Best which also recorded the highest numbers this year in the Japanese market. They will next release the physical Butter CD in July which will feature a brand new track.
