Blessd and Maluma have teamed up for a remix of Blessd’s “Imposible.” The original version of “Imposible” was Blessd’s first release of 2021.
About the track, Blessd says, “‘Imposible’ marks the beginning of an era in which my project is going to reach another level that I consider to be more professional. ‘Imposible’ is about making it to the big leagues.”
Meanwhile, Maluma has taken to social media to express how thrilled he is to support emerging hometown talents like Blessd: “Medellín on the map. A group of intense artists from here is emerging, and I want them to shine. It’s not going to be like before, when egos got in the way. Business is business and friendship is friendship. I’m with my people. This is going to breakout hard #ImposibleRemix.”
“Imposible Remix” is produced by The Prodigiez, the Colombian production team that has worked with Nicky Jam, Maluma, ChocQuibTown, and Becky G. Joining them as a co-writer is Philip Ariaz, comprising a team that is working with this emerging artist who has already scored several regional hits.
The Prodigiez are attuned to the significance of this duet: “This collaboration represents a milestone. Previously, it seemed unimaginable to us that a global star at Maluma’s level could unselfishly lend a hand to a new artist. Fortunately we have made it happen. We hope that this opportunity motivates emerging talents to work hard and realize that great artists, producers, moguls and industry VIPs are tuned in to what’s coming out of Colombia.”
