Boy band Big Time Rush, who starred on the Nickelodeon hit series of the same name, has surprised fans by announcing two concerts, eight years after being on hiatus. Ticket pre-sale signups are available here.
Fans speculated the news when the four members, Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega, changed their profile pictures to the color red. The announcement on Twitter also comes with a short clip with a voiceover telling the members the world needs Big Time Rush.
The two concerts will take place in December in the Chicago Theater in Chicago and Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
The Big Time Rush series ran on Nickelodeon from 2009 to 2013. The whole series was made available to stream on Netflix this past March. The group released three albums — BTR in 2010, Elevate in 2011, and 24/Seven in 2013 with hits songs including “Boyfriend,” “Worldwide,” “Til I Forget About You,” and “Windows Down.”
