Latin Grammy Award-winning singer/rapper Bad Bunny and Chester Cheetah have teamed up on a new Cheetos commercial to rally the next generation to leave their mark on culture.

Speaking Spanglish, the Puerto Rican global reggaetón superstar said “En la vida tu puedes dejar las cosas just as they are or you can choose to dejar huella.” The message translates as a generational call to decide to leave things as is or choose to leave your mark by pushing the boundaries with your unique individuality.

The commercial arrives as part of a multi-platform initiative “Deja Tu Huella” campaign launched last month between Cheetos and Bad Bunny. The initiative also finds Cheetos giving back to the Hispanic community with a $500,000 commitment to Bad Bunny’s Good Bunny Foundation.

“I’ve been so fortunate to be able to embrace my roots and culture and express it through music and entertainment,” said Bad Bunny. “I want to encourage others to be passionate in whatever they set their mind to. DEJA TU HUELLA!”

“I’m leaving my mark in many ways,” he previously told Billboard. “For me, it’s important to leave my mark with my creations in music but also as a human being. My music has traveled far around the world and 100 percent in Spanish with my Puerto Rican slang. Wherever I go, in every interview, I let everyone know that I am Latino and Puerto Rican and I think that I have left that mark well placed in the whole world.”

Bad Bunny continues to trace his legacy with his feature film debut in the upcoming STXfilms drama American Sole opposite Pete Davidson, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Camila Mendes, and Offset, and which he is also executive producing. The versatile artist was also confirmed to star in the upcoming season of Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico, making his small screen debut as an upper society drug pusher.
