All The Events Canceled Due to Coronavirus
Vacancy has compiled an ongoing list of events canceled due to the outbreak.

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to spread around the world, many governments have put restrictions on how many can gather at once. This affected concerts and festivals causing many to get postponed to a later date or canceled altogether to prevent further spread. Vacancy has compiled a list of all the events canceled due to Coronavirus.

Concerts

Winter Jam

The show that featured artists like Crowder, Andy Mineo, Hillsong Young & Free, Passion, and Louie Giglio, had already started their tour which began January 2020. But as concerns grew, the remainder of the tour which was scheduled to go through March 29th was canceled.

BTS

The K-Pop band announced they were postponing their North American leg of their tour. The tour was supposed to run for 15 nights.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles announced on Twitter that his European tour will be postponed to 2021 for safety precautions.

World Tour Brushfire Relief

The benefit concert in Melbourne, Australia was canceled when Miley Cyrus pulled out due to travel recommendations. The relief concert would have also had performers like Robbie Williams and Lil Nas X.

Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers canceled their Las Vegas residency which was supposed to begin April 1st and go through the 18th.

Live Nation Entertainment and AEG Presents Tours

Live Nation made the big recommendation to cancel tours. Billie Eilish, Jason Aldean, Cher, and Post Malone where some of the tours that got sent home. According to Billboard, they will reevaluate in April regarding summer tours.

Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall canceled all their events scheduled through May 10th. All tickets will be refunded.

Lincoln Center

Lincoln Center canceled all public performances and screenings.

The Met Opera

The Met Opera canceled performances until March 31st. They all issued a 14-day quarantine for performers traveling from China, Iran, South Korea, Japan, Italy, and Hong Kong.

The Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry will pause performances that have live audiences. The Saturday Night Grand Ole Opry Show will return as a live radio broadcast without a live audience.

Billboard Music Awards

The Billboard Music Awards were canceled before their April 29th ceremony.

Festivals and Conferences

South by Southwest – The biggest convergence of interactive, film, and music is postponed to 2021. It was going to take place from March 13th to the 22nd. Ticket holders can transfer their passes for the following year.

Colour Conference

Hillsong’s women conference canceled the conferences in Los Angeles, London, New York, Cape Town, Kiev and will be postponed to 2021. This year’s Sydney conference will be available online.

Rock Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The 2020 induction ceremony that was scheduled for March 12 and was rescheduled for November 7. Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, and Depeche Mode are among the group to be inducted in the first-ever ceremony broadcast on HBO.

Coachella and Stagecoach

The festivals both held in Indio will be postponed until October months after their original April dates.

Summer Olympics

The Summer Olympics that were scheduled to start in Japan this summer were postponed to 2021.

Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival was postponed and looks to reschedule for “the end of June-beginning of July 2020,” per a release.

VidCon

In its 11th year, VidCon has announced they will cancel this year’s event which was going to take place this summer.

Daytime Emmys Ceremony

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced that the 47th Daytime Emmys Ceremony that was scheduled for June was canceled.

Bonnaroo

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival was pushed back three months from its original weekend to September 24-27.

Netflix is a Joke Fest

Netflix’s first-ever comedy festival postponed to a later date from their original April 27th.

Glastonbury 2020

Glastonbury which was scheduled for June 4th through the 8th was canceled.

The Met Gala

The annual Met Gala which takes place every first Monday in May is postponed until further notice.

74th Tony Awards

The 74th annual Tony Awards have been postponed from their original June 7th date. Broadway shows have also been canceled during this time.
